GENERAL INFO

  • New members of the Delta Iota Chapter of Phi Lambda Sigma are initiated annually, usually during the Spring Semester (Awards Night).

  • This nationally recognized, peer-selected organization honors those students and faculty who have exemplified themselves as leaders to their colleagues and the community, while helping advance the profession of pharmacy.

  • We will consider up to 20% of the P2 class, up to 5% of the P3 class, and up to 2 faculty members for membership each year. 

APPLICANT INFO: Applications available now - Please check your student email for more information. 

  • Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for membership:

    • Students -

      1. Shall be actively enrolled in the College of Pharmacy Pharm. D. program and have completed the first professional year.  â€‹

      2. Shall have an overall scholastic grade point average of at least 2.50 at the time of the application deadline

      3. Shall be nominated by current Phi Lambda Sigma members.

    • Faculty
      • The faculty candidates should submit a Curriculum Vitae and a Word document, not to exceed one page.

        • ​Please answer: "What makes you a competitive candidate for Phi Delta Lambda?"

We encourage everyone to be actively involved and are looking forward to receiving your applications.  If you have applied in the past and were not offered membership, PLEASE APPLY AGAIN, as time can only allow us to do more and improve ourselves.  We will be happy to answer any questions that you may have about the application process.  Items not brought to our attention, unfortunately, cannot be addressed if we are unaware, so please let us know if you have any questions or concern​s.
